Yorkshire Balloon Fiesta, York, stars BoyzLife and Heather Small

The full line-up has been announced for the Yorkshire Balloon Fiesta this year.

Headlined by Scouting for Girls, Craig Charles, Gabrielle, Heather Small, BoyzLife, DJ Howard Donald, Symphonic Ibiza and York’s party band Huge in September.

The three-day event will be the largest hot air balloon and music festival in the north of England, taking place on the Knavesmire, next to York Racecourse, from September 23-25.

It will also feature Brainiac Live performing their outrageous science experiments and daredevil stunts. Andy & the Odd Socks from CBBC’s hit show ‘Andy and the Band’ and fellow CBBC star YolanDa with her amazing Band Jam Show are all set to delight and entertain the youngest members of the crowd.

Heather Small will be featured

Over 50 hot air balloons will appear at the Festival, including the return of Europe’s distinctive balloon ship, as well as a range of new character balloons. Other elements of the packed program include encounters with balloon pilots, a daredevil stunt show, birds of prey displays, the world’s largest inflatable assault course, a covered bar with live entertainment, as well than York’s largest funfair, including the largest transportable roller coaster in the UK. be enjoyed by the whole family. The festival finale will be York’s biggest fireworks display on Sunday evening.

The 2021 party attracted over 60,000 visitors throughout the August bank holiday weekend. The event organizers have also donated £1 from every ticket sold to three local charities and will do the same in 2022 to raise funds for Yorkshire Air Ambulance, York Rescue Boat and St Leonard’s Hospice.

“As well as the incredible spectacle of the hot air balloons themselves, we also have our best range of activities and exhibits for the whole family to enjoy throughout the three days and we have moved our stage to the middle of the event, opposite the A64, to give everyone a better experience.We encourage visitors to book well in advance to ensure they can get the full Yorkshire Balloon Fiesta experience.
